father of waters award given at mpls downtown council annual meeting

The Father of Waters Award is conferred periodically as the mdc’s highest expression of gratitude. At the 61st mdc annual meeting, Immediate Past Chair Tom Hoch received the award. Throughout Hoch’s two years as Board Chair, he was a continued and steadfast advocate for creating a vibrant, energetic and active downtown community. He’s been a strong advocate for creating an extraordinary downtown through Intersections: The Downtown 2025 Plan. The mpls downtown council appreciates the work he’s done with an emphasis on providing programming and elevating the experience within our downtown community.

The Father of Waters Award plaque reads:

To TOM HOCH

In grateful appreciation for your service and partnership as Board Chair from 2014 to 2016.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR STRONG LEADERSHIP, FOCUS AROUND A VIBRANT DOWNTOWN THAT IS SAFE AND WELCOMING FOR ALL, AND CLEAR VISION FOR CREATION OF AN EXTRAORDINARY DOWNTOWN.
