The X Games will be taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium from July 14-16, and as part of the festivities there will be related road closures leading up to the event.
The X Games will take place:
Friday, July 14: 12 pm – 10:30 pm
Saturday, July 15: 10 am – 10 pm
Sunday, July 16: 10 am – 5 pm
Along with the competition itself, there are also X Games concerts taking place at The Commons:
Friday, July 144: A Day to Remember (10:45 pm – 12 am)
Saturday, July 15: Flume (10:45 pm – 12 am)
Sunday, July 16: Atmosphere (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm)
Below are tentative dates and times for closures related to X Games in July.
- Chicago Ave from 4th Street to 6th Street: Saturday July 8 to Wednesday July 19 – 24 hours per day
- 4th Street from 5th Ave to US Bank Stadium Loading dock: Thursday July 13 (7 pm) to Monday July 17 (4 am) – 24 hours per day *Note: The northerly lane of 4th St will be open from 5th Ave to Park Ave throughout the event, the rest of 4th to the stadium will be closed.
- Portland Ave from 4th Street to 5th Street: Thursday July 13 (7 pm) to Monday July 17 (4 am) – 24 hours per day
- Park Ave from 4th Street to 5th Street: Thursday July 13 (7 pm) to Monday July 17 (4 am) – 24 hours per day. *Note: There will be lane restrictions on Park Ave from July 10-18.
